Chad Lefkowitz-Brown is a young saxophonist who has become one of the first jazz headliners of his generation. He is a widely recognized soloist, was a member of the multi Grammy winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra (ALJO) and has toured with pop music star Taylor Swift. Chad is also a visiting artist at the renowned San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Early Life

Chad LB grew up in Elmira, New York. He began studying the saxophone at age 9 under the instruction of his father, a music teacher and multi-instrumentalist. By age 11 he was performing around upstate New York and working under the mentorship of local jazz legend George Reed. At 18 LB was selected to study at the prestigious Brubeck Institute where he performed regularly with Dave Brubeck and the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet.
